A result of a training program at El Domo Product Design Agency.

This Wind Tunnel is perfect for schools and any experimental person who likes to learn about aerodynamics.

The fans used are SUNOS_SP101A.

You can add smoke through the fans, but for more control, you need to direct the smoke using a tube into the model section, which requires making a hole. As this depends on the used tube and chosen position, we deliver the design without the hole. You can add it before or after the 3D-Printing.

To mount a model on the top cover or model base, use BBQ 3mm wooden/bamboo sticks.

The easiest way to control the speed in 4 stages, add a switch to each fan, just a simple switch on one cable of each fan. This will allow you to control how many fans will be on or off.

Only the Airfoil file requires support. All others can be made with no support.

We used Ender 5 Plus. You really need this size.

  • The project page on MyMiniFactory for accessing the STL files for 3D-Printing:

  • Download here the STEP file of the complete design and the 3D PDF (open with Adobe reader and clock on the picture to activate).

Please share it with schools around you and help them to build and use it.
